Like Short Circuit visited the world of Mad Max. “#5 is Alive!”
I just recently tried to watch Chappie off of cable because I like this guy’s other movies (District 9 and Elysium) and couldn’t get through the whole thing. Ok, so I get it: Our definition of Life, with a capital L, may or should change with the advent of true AI. But, why is this near-future world as violent as Mad Max and with a similar fashion sense to boot?
Besides, wouldn’t you test your new, true AI program on a inanimate neural-net first — before booting it up in something with legs, like a robot that can run away from you? Just sayin’ …
